| Room available March 1 in a cozy, quiet home in East Vancouver. Long-term preferred. Single person only please. *Please answer the questions at the end of the listing to let us know more about you! The Room: The room measures 90" x 132" plus a decent sized closet. Can come furnished with a double bed, but can be removed if you don't need it. The House: You'll be sharing the kitchen, living room, and laundry room with myself and 1 other person, both in our early-mid 30s. Bathroom is only shared with 1 person. Rent is $861 plus utilities, which vary, but usually between $40-90/month. Super convenient location with close access to the 22, 25, 33, and 19. Save-On and No Frills are a 5-10 minute walk away, as well as some great restaurants. There's parking in the back if needed as well. No pets, unfortunately. We do have a good landlord so any issues are fixed very quickly and the house is well-maintained. About Us: We're looking for someone long-term. We like a calm, tidy, and peaceful vibe. We're both quiet introverts, so if you're looking for a lot of socializing at home this may not be the best fit, but the occasional guest or shared meal is always nice! We do our own thing and respect each other's space, but we're friendly. We really value keeping the shared spaces clean and tidy. We clean as we go, and we've also got a weekly cleaning roster and take turns taking out the garbage and mowing the lawn. (Don't worry, it's really small!) This is an LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly space. Open communication is a must, we prefer to talk things out and work through them with kindness and understanding.
