Queer and BIPOC friendly household. This is a furnished, 2-bedroom, upstairs unit in the Westmount Subdivision of Halifax. Comes with in-unit washer/dryer but no dishwasher. There's a backyard garden and a small balcony. The closest bus stops are about a 5 min walk to catch the 1, 24, or 9, which easily get you to university campuses and grocery stores. The Walmart Supercentre, Halifax Shopping Centre, and Planet Fitness are ~10 min bus ride away. Monthly living costs: - Rent: $813.50 (includes cold water and personal parking space) - Power: $50-200 (includes heat and hot water) - Wifi: $34.50 A little bit about the person you would be living with: I'm a 21yo marine biology undergraduate who likes cooking, gardening and playing musical instruments. I'm a queer trans man (he/him). I like science, music, books, art, and plants. I'm generally pretty quiet when at home. Looking for someone queer-friendly, responsible, and considerate who I can work together with to keep the place clean, and have clear, open communication with. Lovely family with a toddler lives in the downstairs unit so no loud parties.
