| I am looking for a mature, considerate, and responsible roommate to share costs in this beautiful, 2-bedroom apartment in the North End of Halifax. This apartment has fantastic light, lots of windows (and plants), good airflow, a very large balcony and always room for more plants! It has a dishwasher, two bathrooms, large bedrooms and closets and an in-unit washer and dryer. If you take the bus, the number 7 bus stop is only a few minutes’ walk away. Amenities and the Hydrostone Market are close by. Monthly apartment cost details: Rent is $1,900, which is $950.00 each. Heat and hot water are included. Power and internet (approx $100/mo for each of us) are shared between us. My current roommate will be finishing their program in the spring and then moving in their partner. So, I will be looking for a roommate for May or June. Because they are moving in with their partner there is some flexibility in the moving dates. About me: I am 48-year-old artist with a professional day job. ;) So, it is not uncommon for me to rotate or change the artwork on the walls in the apartment. I am a morning person who enjoys being up early, and I strive to live a healthy lifestyle and love cooking healthy meals. I enjoy a positive, peaceful and clean home environment. I spend a good chunk of my weekends painting and going for hikes. Because I have celiac and scent/chemical sensitivities, I would love to find someone like-minded, who is also gluten-free and who prefers naturally scented products to share this space with me.
